Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport and Kampala city tour
On your arrival, the driver shall take you to your reserved hotel for checking in after your travels. A short trip around Kampala city is embarked on with the driver from the late morning till evening.
Notable highlights of the Kampala city tour include visiting some cultural heritage sites such as the Kasubi tombs, some recreational and amusement centers, trips around the business parks and also a lunch stop over at your ideal restaurants. The day ends with a drop off back at the hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the early morning, the driver shall commence on the approximately 400 KM stretch to Queen Elizabeth National park. Along the way there are notable stop overs as the journey is a hefty 8 hour drive.
Notable stopovers include lunch break and a tour at the Kayabwe Equator crossing point, stop over sighting of Mountain Rwenzori and the Kasese equator crossing point. At the apex of the transfer the driver shall reach you at your booked hotel suites in and around the park.
Day 3: Early morning game drive and Kazinga channel cruise
The driver shall start day 3 of your wildlife Uganda safaris with a game drive up to around 12 pm. Proceedings to a lunch spot in the park follow shortly and then the driver takes you at the starting point of your Kazinga channel boat cruise. This begins at 2pm and ends latest at 6 pm.
Day 4: Community visits, nature walks and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable
You shall encounter the Kyambura village natives in the early morning on your 4th day and shortly engage in nature walks around the park after. After lunch the driver shall help you in checking out and later proceed with your 2 hour transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Checking in at your reserved accommodation suit and resting proceed after your arrival.
Day 5: Gorilla habituation
Day 5 is all for gorilla habituation in the thick dense forests of Bwindi. This activity is amazing and memorable, as it presents you a golden opportunity of close interaction to these gentle primates.
Day 6: Transfer to Mgahinga National park and golden monkey trekking
After your morning breakfast at the lodge, the driver will come help you out and begin the approximately 65 kilometer trip south to Mgahinga National Park. By 2 pm you shall have arrived, checked in with your reserved hotel and preparing for the afternoon session of golden monkey trekking.
Day 7: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Day 7 is a full transfer day from Mgahinga National Park to Murchison Falls National Park. This is a hefty 11 hour drive with a few nature sighting stops along the way and lunch breaks.
Day 8: Morning game drive and top of the falls hike
The day starts with an early morning game drive in the park. Afterwards the driver will take you to the nice lunch spots and to the starting point of the top of the falls hike.
Day 9: Boat cruise, canopy walks and night game drive
In the early morning, the driver will take you at the starting point of your boat cruise at the Nile where you will have breakfast on board. The canopy walks follow in the afternoon and then the night game drives.
Day 10: Transfer to Kampala, stop over at Ziwa rhino sanctuary
Day begins with an early morning transfer from Murchison falls to Kampala. There is a stop shortly after Murchison falls national park to Ziwa rhino sanctuary where you will watch the endangered black and white rhinos.
Day 11: Kampala city tour
The driver will drive around the city to visit all the other interesting places you couldn’t observe on day 1. He will take you to more recreational centers and other amazing heritage sites the whole day
Day 12: Transfer to Entebbe airport
Your 12 days wildlife Uganda safaris ends with a transfer to Entebbe International airport for your departure flight.
